Last week, on May 3th, Research Line 5 – Biotechnological valorization of marine biomass – met online for a new coordination meeting to discuss the work achieved in this line during the last 6 months.
Several work developments were discussed, namely:
New studies & data on Selection of Model Organisms; New studies & data on Production of Extracts and Compounds; More new data & results (including ongoing papers and posters!) on Assessment of Biological Activities; Even more studies & data on Processing and Development of Biomedical Applications,with several of these studies currently focusing on sponges 🧽 & algae 🌿, investigating new potential cosmetic or anti-inflammatory applications & being carried out by new coworkers who were recently hired – welcome to the ATLANTIDA team!
