Yesterday, Research Line 2 – Ecosystems and Biodiversity in the Northwest Portuguese coast met online for a new coordination meeting to discuss the work achieved in the last 6 months!

Many (and great!) results & outputs were presented, namely:
📌 New data & results (including new papers!) on Monitoring contamination and effects of microplastics and other environmental contaminants in the NW PT Atlantic Coast;
📌 New data (including a super cool Dolphin Photo-ID Catalogue !) & other outcomes from long and short campaigns on Seasonal distribution of pelagic biodiversity;
📌 New data retrieved from local fishermen on the Development of a knowledge baseline of deep-sea vulnerable marine ecosystems;
📌 Also new data & papers on Implementation of DNA (meta)barcoding approaches in marine species and communities biomonitoring.

Keep checking to find out more about their results!
